Context

Environment

The initiative was launched within a large operational ecosystem where corporate (B2B) clients had no access to promotional tools.

While individual customers could benefit from campaigns and discounts, business clients lacked any mechanism for targeted offers, creating a gap in engagement and retention.

At the same time, the company faced increasing churn among corporate clients and had no scalable way to influence demand or re-engage inactive users. The business challenge wasn’t simply introducing promo codes—it was creating an entirely new commercial capability that didn’t previously exist.

The goal was to introduce a new capability — enabling targeted, flexible discounting directly within the existing customer journey.

The Core Problem

The challenge was not adding a feature, but building a new system capability:

  • no technical infrastructure for B2B promo codes
  • no mechanism to influence customer behavior
  • no scalable way to drive demand or retention

As a result:

  • customer churn increased
  • high-margin products could not be promoted
  • growth was limited to static pricing models

The business needed a new capability—not another feature.
